For instance, you can choose one with rose quartz which encourages love and harmony of self and others, or sandalwood which helps the mind to unwind and opens the heart to love, as it subdues aggression and irritability, promotes compassion, and enhances meditation. Whatever your needs you can find the corresponding beads.

The Rudraksha beads, which are evergreen seeds, are said to be made by Lord Shiva’s tears. It is said that after a long and deep meditation for the welfare and happiness of all the living beings, that lasted a thousand years; Lord Shiva opened his lotus shaped eyes, and feeling sorrow for the suffering of humankind, a compassionate tear fell from his eyes and grew into the Rudraksha tree. The Rudraksha bead is believed to contain the entire universe and its benefits include; balancing the Chakras, protection from accidents and negative events, they awaken Kundalini, increases self-power, controls stress, and much, much more.
